This former two-storey office on the Hoogte Kadijk got transformed into a multi-use building, housing a landscape architecture office, short stay apartments and a spacious loft on top. The extension is clearly an addition to the original building and still enhancing its industrial character on the site of an old brewery (De Gekroonde Valk).
The dark ceramic tiles give depth and texture to a strong facade. Large window openings and a patio give lightness on the street side, where smaller openings on the back make the addition more monolithic.
